Bang On Party Themes for Your Lil’ Ones Birthday

Oh my, kids now a days I tell you! Even before you think of their birthday coming next month, kids are ready with their wish list and their list of best  bestest friends! LOL! Yeah, actually, they do this to remind you that they have high expectations from you and you need pull up your socks and arrange for the best theme party for their coming birthday.

You can also check out our shop for wall stickers for theme decor for kids here.

Err…correction, you can’t dare to dishearten them with a normal party idea, it has to be exciting and fun-filled (!) else be ready to get the birthday bumps :P

I remember my aunt’s daughter screaming and hauling on her head to have a tin tin cartoon character all over (what name is that tin tin?? Sounds like tin can to me :P ) on her birthday. You won’t believe, she was just 4 yrs at that time but can rule anyone of 40 yrs.

Well, kids have God in them and you can’t disappoint your God, right! So, here are some exciting themes for birthday of your God naughty child.

Well, some of the pictures below are taken by me and Vandana (Mommy blogger) at an event hosted by Indiblogger team. You might like my captures: Random Shots

# 3. Superhero to the Rescue!

Birthday Party for Boys (Superhero)

Image via photocarddesigns

Colors Used: Red, blue, yellow, black

Main element: superhero mask and clothes and capes

Characters that can be used: Superhero cake &  toys, eye-masks

Can’t actually say that only kids are fan of super heroes because even I love watching super hero movies like spider-man, iron-man, harry-potter…and many more…err…am I sounding childish? Oh…am so sorry actually I was taken back to my childhood memories  where I used to tie up a towel on my neck so that I can have a long capes to fly….broom…broom…

Oh my gawd…why am I talking so much…I should better concentrate on sharing ideas for birthdays with you.

Okay, Priti behave behave….bhuhu…I want this spider man cake (rolling on the floor screaming) ;) Hahaha…sorry for this one. Let’s move on to the things you need to take into account when you are planning for a theme party for the first time.

If you want to work on some unusual theme and don’t know where to start from, here are my handy tips for you:

1

Think about a suitable theme (ask your kiddo):

Let’s say we want to go for Aladdin theme…now proceed. Look out for every single detail about the colors, costumes, characters and WOW elements.

2

Think about the possible colors that may represent the theme:

Possible colors in our case (Aladdin) would be blue, red, white, gold, purple and black.

3

Recall the characters that can be used

Characters for sketch and cutouts are: Jasmine, Aladdin, genie, Jafar, Abu, Magical carpet etc. Cut outs and pictures will depict the theme to the best.

4

Plan for the backdrop first and other materials

Our backdrop can be a palace with clouds and stars. And for the base you can use sand with genie lamp.

5

Birthday cake must go with the theme

How about a cake in white and brown with carpet, clouds and a lamp at the top?

# 4. Lady Bug Party

Colors Used: Red, black, white and pink

Main element: Polka dot balloons
