Items for Decoration I Discovered at Roadside Shops in Central Market

Finally, I have come to an end of writing posts for Diwali! This is ma last post on Diwali decoration for the year 2012 and we will be back with some awesome stuffs for decoration next year.

Hey, we aren’t going anywhere! We have loads of things to discover and share with you all no matter how much I miss Diwali. :( Here is a flash back of collection of all decoration items for Diwali I shopped for in Lajpat Market, New Delhi.

Wall Hangings

Lajpat/Central market is famous for its cheap and trendy items. Whether you want to shop for cloths, accessories or home furnishings you can bump into the market with your endless shopping list.

Though I don’t like to shop for clothes at Lajpat, I captured so many items for home decor which were incredibly beautiful. Check out some of the candles for Diwali Decoration.

Who said only homes need to be decorated at Diwali! I found the market decorated with twinkling lights all over like an Indian bride. Here is a sample picture.

Decoration with Lights

While I was about to finish my shopping, and moving very fast to catch metro I stopped suddenly at a shop! This is what made me stop and I unpacked my bag quickly to capture this wonderful giant vase for home with marvelous oil paintings on the wall. The image is not clear, as the vase wasn’t clean.

Here is another picture of the market decorated with lights. It looks like a shade, isn’t it? My eyes were twinkling when I saw it and thought I should capture it for you.
