Whether you want to decorate your indoors or outdoors, colorful clay pots will serve to be a very creative idea to enhance the look of your home.

Pretty Simple Ideas and Designs You Can Use for Pottery Painting

Vidhi is back in her form and has made some beautiful designs on pots that will inspire you. I bet, you just can’t resist to say “WOW” to her creative ideas for pot painting.

As I had already written a lot about her NGO (Vidhi Kalakriti) and her incredible piece of art, here she is with some fabulous pot painting ideas that you can easily make on your own.

In my earlier posts on Vidhi’s creative pot painting designs, the patterns on the clay pot were a bit complicated yet beautiful ones. But the designs that I am going to share with you right now are very easy to make and hence can be designed by any individual, even your kids can make it.

Voila! I like the warli art she had made on the clay pot. Looks pretty interesting, and color combination is simply awesome. I like the way she has used her necklace for the presentation. Like it Vidhi! :)

Ah, I love visiting villages…the smell of wet soil in the atmosphere makes me feel like am in heaven. Wish I could learn pottery making on wheels. I want to dirty my hands and smell it all day long.

Vidhi is so lucky to visit such places and capture these beautiful scenes with an artisan making clay pot. It looks easy for us watch them making it but in reality it’s a tough task to work under the sun for long hours. :(

Remember the first image of this post, here is a closer view of the warli art on pot. Warli designs are famous forms of art which depicts the tribal people and has been used as ideas for painting on pots, wall, textile etc. Frankly, I came to know about this art from when Vidhi showed me some of her art works with warli paintings on them.

Try whatever pattern you want to but use bright colors for painting and see the magic. :D

Whoa! Look at the designs and ideas Vidhi has use over her for pot painting and it’s display. I truly heart it. Pot painting in pink and white is the one I like the most. I will be meeting her soon and will surely ask her, if she can gift me one of the pots. :P The pots in white are ready to be painted, I guess it’s for me. :D

I have never seen design and pots with so many different shapes and sizes and my curiosity made me ask Vidhi about it. She said that, you can’t find these design easily in the market. She herself designs them all and guide the artisans to make it. Ah…am impressed with her ideas and design on pot painting. She is doing a commendable job.
