Have you checked my post on: Interior Ideas for Small Homes in India

Plywood Wall Partition

The best material that we can use for partition of our living room is this amazing mini wall which is well-constructed right in between the hall and painted with matching colors (see the image above). Whoa! The most striking accessory used to decorate the fake-wall over here is the beach style mirror.

By the way, the best material for home cannot be better that wooden elements for home, especially bamboos for home. Hey, do you want to make some bamboo crafts as well, to decorate your home? Its right here:

Okay, book lovers  are you looking for a corner for yourself to find about who was the murderer?  Why did he killed the girl he loved? What’s the new discovery?  OMG! This love story is so beautiful.

Uh…got confused, what am I talking about? Okay, let me clear your confusion else you will think am a nerd. Actually, I was talking about different types of curative feelings you get while you read your favorite novel, books, stories etc.

Check out this cool looking ideas to partition your living room or bedroom with a corner space as your mini library.

Must say, my mom is a perfect designer as she had already discovered this idea of using long curtains & drapes for dividing a spacious living room. As she is also fond of red color (just like me), this is what exactly my living room looks like with these red colored curtains minus coffee table.

Hang your curtain rods directly from the ceiling to make your room look like a royal and extravagant place to live.

I used to have a fight with my elder brothers when I was too young because I had to share a single room with both of them and both of them always freaked me out by some foolish horror stories and I could do nothing instead of crying and screaming… Uh…why didn’t my father use this concept of using long curtains, I would have been the happiest kid with a big *smile*.

Now comes my favorite section, bead, beads and lots of beads around me make me feel so good. Okay, do you feel the same way as I do? Then why don’t you have these for your home.

Oh, so gorgeous! Am really stunned watching this so adorable and romantic atmosphere created by beaded curtains with blings. You know what, I too had some cute and colorful beaded curtains with cut-glass mirrors but I broke them all and my feelings scattered just like beads on the floor. Hmm…of course I can handle it, I will use it for my walls as a back-splash. :)

Hi Priti.. loved reading your blog. Something I have been looking for some time now. Since I rent an apartment, I’m looking for some temporary room dividers to partition my living + dining room. I liked the the hanging room dividers but I couldn’t find any online store to buy them. Could you please help me in finding one!! Thanks.

Same problem I am facing. I have a small kid who’ll learn walking and exploring things in a month or two so I am in search of ceiling/wall hanging partitions which are light weight (so that even if my kid pulls and breaks it, it wo’nt harm him) but elegant and add some life beside my dining area. I’ve been searching for some hanging partition with strings/decorative glass patterns etc but unable to find one in Pune/online. Priti, can you please help with some links, references, if you have.
Your posts are very nice btw. Loved many of your ideas/designs in your different posts here. One thing I liked is the variety you’ve displayed in different post and you don’t follow a particular/personal pattern the way others do. :)

Or just designs one can use?
